The Parade Continues

John Loukas in his Engine Specialists AA/FA

"Wild Bill" Alexander in Rod Alexander's "Ernie's Shutter Bug" Pontiac powered repop. Alexander was also one of the 2004 CHRR Honorees.

Norm Weekly in the "Frantic 4" car of Weekly-Rivero-Fox-Holding. The entire team was also 2004 CHRR Honorees.

Ralph Kitron in his slick "Swamp Fox" 1968 R&B car.

Kenny Safford in his "Safford-Gaide-Ratican" A/FD. The car also won the 2004 CHRR Outstanding Cacklefest Presentation Award.

Rod Hynes got his turn in the seat of the Rocky & Sharon Childs "Addict". Can tell you first hand, he had fun!

Cacklefest vets the 1965 Steinegger & Eshenbaugh AA/FD with original driver Albert E in the seat.

Rachelle Anderson in the Anderson Family "Vagabond" AA/FD. This car has been in every Cacklefest to date.

Pete Eastwood in Lynn Park's "Samuari" AA/FD

Wayne King in his "Doss-Clayton-King" AA/FD. This is King's second Cacklefest.

Don Irvin in the beautiful San Diego based "Poison Ivy" AA/FD that's owned by Bob, Dana & Robbie DeBurn.

What a weekend Zane Shubert had! After the Friday night fire-up at the Double Tree Hotel, he was back in the seat for Cacklefest in Ron Johnson's brand new "Shubert & Herbert" Bob Meyer repop.

Cacklefest staple, the Howard Cams Rattler with Jimmy Scott in the cockpit.

Roger Gates in his old AA/FD that is now owned and restored by Dennis Fenstermaker.

Jeep Hampshire in Dennis Prater's incredible 1964 Stellings & Hampshire "Red Stamp" AA/FD.

John Ewald in his brand new (as in finished on Friday) 1968 Jim Davis AA/FD restoration dubbed "Master Car" (to go with its teammate "BankAmericar"). John, along with Alex Mikkelsen and Ronnie Rapp decided not to do the car in its Davis paint scheme but make it an example of what a few guys together can do for a Cacklecar if they have an old piece with no history.

The car that started it all - Bill Pitts' MagiCar with Rick McDonald in the seat. Rick has been the wrench on this car for years but in the past Jeep Hampshire has always got "the ride". This year Hampshire was in the Stellings & Hampshire car so who better than take his place but the guy who keeps it running.

Don Ewald in the Ewald Bros. "BankAmericar" fresh off its cover shot (and feature spread) in the November 2004 issue of Hot Rod Magazine.

From the moment he got to the track on Friday, nobody had more fun than Herm Petersen (aka Northwest Terror). When Steve Gibbs offered Petersen the chance to fire the Greeks 1968 car he jumped on it. It was great to see Herman back in the seat of a race car.

Another Cacklefest newbie was John Wiebe's so-called Banjo car owned and restored by Bob Painton. For the fire up Chris Davis was in the seat.

Dave West was back for his third Cacklefest in the ever popular Beebe & Mulligan fueler he had recreated in 2000.

Back from its summer Cackle Tour, Mike Kuhl's AA/FD with Carl Olson in his familiar seat.

After a two year absence, to the delight of everyone, Steve Davis was back with the Greer-Black-Prudhomme car.

Jim Crooke in his beautifully restored "Assassin" (now owned by Jim Green).

Tom Hanna in the seat of his engineering masterpiece.

Last but not least, Art Chrisman's "Hustler I"
