   While the Cacklefest cars were being staged and drivers suiting up at the other end, the fans adrenalin was put on kill with exhibition passes by Mike Boyd in the Winged Express and Ron Hope in the Rat Trap. Fuel Alterds a pair.      Let the games begin! First down was Bobby Langley in Don Ross' "Scorpion I" A/D.   Next to fire was Ed Lenarth in the only "funny car" to cackle.   Ronnie Stearns in the Ratican, Jackson & Stearns AA/FA Fiat.   Don Westhaver in the Scotty Fenn Special.   Tommy Larkin in the Weiss & Larkin AA/GD   George Bolthoff A/GD   Goob Tuller in the Albertson Olds A/D     Don Enriquez in The Freight Train AA/GD   Leon Fitzgerald wows the folks with his Pure Heaven II - the only fuel altered in the show.    Red Greth (original 1950's helmet) in his "Ol' Noisy" Speed Sport roadster.   Not sure who was in the Meador's Speed Sport III.  Next to push down was John Loukas in his AA/FC.     Bill Alexander pushes off in the Ernie's Camera "Shutter Bug".       Ron Rivero hits the gas to get Norm Weekly fired in the Frantic 4 fueler.    Ralph Kitron in the Kitron & Hoyh "Swamp Fox" AA/FD   Kenny Safford in the Safford-Gaide-Ratican "Sour Sisters" Olds fueler.   Rod Hynes puts out some stout header flames in The Addict.     Albert Eshenbaugh in the Steinegger & Eshenbaugh AA/FD.   Incredibly I only got one shot of Rachelle Anderson in The Vagabond. Obviously I got more photos of some cars than others. Seems John and I were in no position to shoot ourselves.  Pete Eastwood was next off in Lynn Parks "Samurai".   Wayne King in the Doss-Clayton-King AA/FD.   Again, sadly we only got one shot of Don Irvin in the Poison Ivy fueler.  Jimmy Scott in the Howard Cams Rattler.    Zane Shubert rollin' in Ron Johnson's "Shubert & Herbert" car.    Herm Petersen rolls in Chris Karamesines' "Chizler".    Jeep Hampshire gives the fans a close (and loud) look at the Stellings & Hamshire beauty.
