Press Release: Nostalgia Drag Racer Writes Race - Themed Children’s Book

November, 2003 Lake Forest California. Nostalgia drag racer Jim Davis has just released his new Children’s book "Roger and the Racecars".

This is the story about a magical kid sized racecar who is moved from a toy store into a racecar shop. Once there he learns that he is going to be a birthday present for a little boy named Luke. Roger meets an old hot rod called Grandpa who introduces him to the drag racing cars in the shop. Roger learns that he has the responsibility to help Roger learn to drive, and how to be safe in a racecar. Only then can he and Luke go racing. The book is richly illustrated with full color drawings that will delight children and be familiar to their racing parents and grandparents.

Roger and the Racecars

Roger and the Racecars is written for the age 3-7 reader and is the first in a series of stories that will explore safety, racing history, and good behavior.

The book is now available at rogerbooks.com and just in time for Christmas!
